How “deep” is “deep”??
Deep drop fishing is fishing in places that most recreational fisherman never go. 200, 400, 800, 1000 feet down–and more. To fish these depths with any regularity requires somewhat specialized gear, but can be very much worth the effort. Deep water snapper, grouper, tilefish, escolar, and a whole bunch of others less well known who have never seen a fishing bait are on the hunt for anything that fits into their mouths!
